For years, there has been a need for a quick, efficient and cost effective means of replacing missing or damaged LATCH Markers
(ADX/ISO Markers) using the YKK marking system, which is the most widely used system in the world.
The Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children (LATCH marker) system was designed to make the installation of child safety seats easier by
requiring child safety seats to be installed without the use of the vehicle's seat belt system. The LATCH marker system was originally
called ISOFIX, a term still used in Europe. In Canada, it is called the Lower Universal Anchorage System (LUAS) of CANFIX.
On occasion, a marker (or markers) may be damaged or removed requiring replacement because they are part of a Federally Mandated
Safety System (Federal Motor Vehicle Safety System Standard 225). In most cases, the repair necessitates the complete replacement
of the upper or lower portion of the rear seat. By any standards, it is a costly and inefficient means of repair.
